Dearest Sam and family our deepest condolences for the loss of your beautiful farther. We will think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched, for nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so much. We send love and strength to you during this difficult time. May you travel safely whilst fulfilling his dying wish. May he rest in peace. Love always and forever your family. The Smiths, Steve, Kass, Neo and Xyon. xxox

For many, a funeral is a ritual of loss and connection where we remember our loved ones who have passed and comfort the living.  The corona-virus outbreak has altered that ritual and changed the way we say goodbye: the loss remains, the connections change.

The new restrictions allow 100 mourners inside the church as long as social distancing rules are followed.

Following the service, Aristidis will return home to Greece to be interned in his family burial plot.

A live stream link will be made available for the service in Greece also on Aristidis' Memorial link which will be available from this link.

A family photo tribute, as well as the service, will be able to be view from this link also.
