We all lost a sharing, caring, fun man in John. I worked with him for about 50 years. Loyal and very hard working, colleagues and clients all loved John. He will be greatly missed. A gentleman, a true friend, and generous with his time and knowledge. Rest In Peace my friend Regards Don Daisley and condolences from Robyn.

John was such a positive person and so he was always a pleasure to be with. His can do attitude and ability to effectively communicate with everyone always made time spent with him enjoyable. His passion, enthusiasm, and energy will be missed by all who knew him.

I spent many hours sharing conversation with John when we shared an office. John was a natural at connecting with people; friendly, kind, helpful and a wealth of knowledge. John enjoyed life and being around him made life enjoyable. John will be sadly missed and fondly remembered. R.I.P dear friend.

John was a warm, welcoming, and kind person with a positive outlook on life. He took me under his wing in my early days of arriving in Australia. I learned so much from him. He always had entertaining stories, some of which I heard more than a dozen times, but never got tired hearing them. John was a friend, mentor, and a father figure to me. I always felt like I could talk to him about anything – he was always there to listen. I will miss his friendship, conversations and humour! Goodbye, my friend. We’ll all miss you a lot. Thank you for everything.

For many, a funeral is a ritual of loss and connection where we remember our loved ones who have passed and comfort the living. The corona-virus outbreak has altered that ritual and changed the way we say goodbye: the loss remains, the connections change.
The new restrictions allow 100 mourners inside the chapel and 50 mourners outside of the chapel as long as social distancing rules are followed. To assist the family with numbers, we request that family and friends who wish to attend click on the RSVP tab and register your attendance.
