Hello, I want to give my condolences on the passing of Mr. Papadakis. I don’t know you but just wanted to say my Uncle Emmanuel Papadakis in San Francisco, Ca also passed away Nov. 18th from complications of a heart attack. I don’t think we’re related (lots of Papadakis’s here, orig. from Hania, Crete) but such a coincidence. Stay well and may God rest them both in peace. Elpida (Papadakis) Kotsoglou.

Thio what can I say but farewell off you go to find the love of your life in Heaven. You may be gone but never forgotten. I will never forget our favourite thing to do together was clean the artichokes and nibble on the leaves. You had a big heart with so much love to give from the moment our families met we became one family. Dad and you may as well have been brothers. We all have such fond memories of the BBQs you would do every opportunity you got... Thank you for such beautiful memories. love from Nick Helen Stella Chris and Mia.

For many, a funeral is a ritual of loss and connection where we remember our loved ones who have passed and comfort the living. The corona-virus outbreak has altered that ritual and changed the way we say goodbye: the loss remains, the connections change.
The funeral service for Emmanuel will be family only due to a family member from Melbourne attending the service. NSW Health stipulates that only 20 mourners will be allowed inside the church. Mourners can stand outside the church as long as social distancing requirements are followed.
