Traditionally, a burial service involves a visitation, followed by a funeral service in a church, or other place of worship. The casket is
typically present at both these events, and it is your decision on whether to have the casket open or not. You have the option of
having the remains interred (earth burial), or they may be entombed in a crypt inside a mausoleum (above ground burial).
Family or religious traditions are often a factor for choosing the type of burial. Decisions need to be made on whether the body
needs to be embalmed, what kind of casket to use, what cemetery to use and what inscriptions to put on the gravestone.

A monumental grave is where the
headstone or other monuments often
made of marble or granite allow for
ornate decorations or personalised
tributes to be erected.
A lawn grave offers a minimal and
natural setting, commonly a simple
plaque which is level with the ground.
A traditional grave includes the grave
covering and a simple headstone.
A mausoleum is an external building
constructed as a monument to hold the
deceased person or people.
Mausoleums are commonly used by a
family or relatives of a family line.
A columbarium is a structure for storing
cremated remains or funerary urns. Not
uncommon for local churches to have
a columbarium attached to the church
or situated in the surrounding grounds.
A natural grave is more in tune with
nature & can feature any of the
following elements: no embalming
fluids, rock or stone headstones &
option of plants or flowers too.
Local cemetery rules may apply.

Many services that Your Departed deliver compliment the professional approach that we at Divinity Funerals strive to provide. The maps in Your Departed help my families navigate their way through a cemetery to the burial site easily & effectively.
A memorial page was also set up and we were able to post a tribute to him. Your Departed made it possible to notify everyone from their website really quickly and easily. It just made it all a bit easier for all of us during a really sad time.
This is my first experience with Your Departed, it's pretty awesome!
