Sincere sympathies to Tom, Stavroula, Eleftheria, Sam, Chris and Andrew on the passing of your dear mother Fotini. And to her daughters and sons in law, Denise, Andrew, Harry, Demi and Jo and all her extended family, may her gentle soul rest in peace. I had the pleasure of meting Fotini on some of her many trips back home to Cyprus when she visited Chris, Andrew and Jo. Such a kind hearted and gentle lady with a great sense of humour. Am sure she will be sorely missed by you all. My thoughts and prayers are with you all on this sad and difficult time. From Tricia Power, Ireland 🌹

In the calm hour of the evening when the seagulls fly slow to their rocks on the island and cry as they go. From each house on the headland lights begin to twinkle in the gloom, and the pale world dwindles to a quiet room. Let us sit by the fireside and remember our friends; Each day ends in darkness But hope never ends. When the last shoal is taken And the last boat comes to shore, We will all sing together Divided no more. (L.A. Strong) To a dear mother who was always there for everyone, we will miss you here in Cyprus on your island you called home. You will never be forgotten and we will carry your love and wisdom in our hearts. God bless you mum and thank you for being you. Love you Andrew, Jo & Chris

For many, a funeral is a ritual of loss and connection where we remember our loved ones who have passed and comfort the living. The coronavirus outbreak has altered that ritual and changed the way we say goodbye: the loss remains, the connections change.
The family has the difficult decision of which ten people will attend the funeral. They are aware that many of you would like to attend but unfortunately, due to the restrictions in place, it is not possible.
Also the link will allow you to view the Live Stream of the service. Following the service a video tribute celebrating Fotini's life as well a replay of the service will be available for viewing.
