Dad you were & still are my best mate my mentor my angel on this earth. You were & will always be the best dad ever! I will miss our daily long chats. Our funny times together. We worked for so many years together. Family Occasions will never be the same as we did the lamb on the spit together every year Easter & Christmas. We celebrated our birthdays one day apart We laughed together & made jokes whilst preparing the lamb on the spit. I loved the good times we had especially when we attended together to watch the Roosters games. My heart is aching! I know you are no longer suffering & that gives me comfort. One day we will meet & I know my beautiful dad my best mate my legend I know we will have those chats again. Love you my beautiful dad! Don’t worry Dad we will look after mum as I promised you. I will keep my word! Love you & I will never forget you your spirit will live within me & my kids! Fly high dad with the angels! I will always keep your candle burning! Love your best mate your son Fotios (Frank) Kambosos ❤️✝️😢

For many, a funeral is a ritual of loss and connection where we remember our loved ones who have passed and comfort the living. The coronavirus outbreak has altered that ritual and changed the way we say goodbye: the loss remains, the connections change. The family has the difficult decision of which ten people will attend the funeral. They are aware that many of you would like to attend but unfortunately, due to the restrictions in place, it is not possible. Following the service, a replay of the service, as well as a video presentation celebrating George's life will be available for viewing.
