Dear Uncle Kevin, Robyn, Raylene, Rich, and fam,
Sending my love to you all today. Aunty Jan was such a massive part of my youth given her closeness to mum (her sister Susan). I will always remember her toughness, and her ability to scare the living daylights out of me as a child and keep me in line ;). I will also always fondly remember her spag bol which was the first time anyone had me eating exotic veggies such as mushrooms (hated by children the world over) with enthusiasm even, and inspired my own cooking style. But most of all, I will always always remember how she was always there to support mum when she most needed it, which being so young at the time, I never truly understood how big that would have been, for lack of better words.
Wishing I could be there with you all today to honour her and offer my support to you all. She will be dearly missed.

Dear Kevin and family,
I am saddened to hear of the passing of Jan. She was quite a character and had a unique perspective and commentary on her medical experiences. I will remember her for her sharp wit, sense of humour and amazing resilience. May you find comfort in your best memories of her.
