Thank you so much for your love & support. To date the sum of $2450 has been contributed to Myeloma Research. This is a fantastic result & on behalf of Aileen, Jocko, Angela & Jackie we are very touched by your generosity.

John introduced our family to the world of border terriers and we got our beloved BTs Benny and Ned because of John and his BT, Robbie. John will be very much missed at our family gatherings at Aunty Jenny’s house. I know Aunty Jenny will miss her great friend John very much.

Uncle John, always so kind, calm and quiet in the best ways. Our family is loud, all the time - especially at Christmas and Sunday lunches. Uncle John was always the one that would be the level headed one with the right words to say. He never judged and never had a bad word to say about anyone. Christmas and family time in Perth won't be the same without him. I wish I could be there with you all. Love you Melinda

John has been an example of how we should live our lives. He was always kind, calm and level headed. He was intelligent and knowledgeable and always happy to instil his knowledge in others. He was always approachable even when "under the pump". The world would be a better place if there were more leaders like him. He will be fondly remembered as a colleague and friend.

Dear John You were a perfect gentleman, a pleasure to have know and worked with. Taken far too soon. My condolences to your family. Go well!

Dear John, first my friend, then my boss and mentor, with so much patience and then my friend again. Although over the last few years I haven't seen you as much, you have always been in my thoughts. I always thought you'd be there. You helped during times when I really needed friends and I have never forgotten. You gave me my first job in IT when I finished TAFE. You even let me build my own computer from scratch. You were a great teacher, you made me laugh and you were so kind. I miss you, miss knowing that I can't just pop in. I should have done it more often. Bye John.

John, Thank you for all your support, guidance and wealth of knowledge you'd provided to me at Lan1 and iiNet. Your reach is far and has touched many people. Quite a few of the iiNet family had said these kind words of you "Top Bloke" "One of the Good Guys" “lovely helpful guy” “Absolute Gentleman”. Rest in peace John. Prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

John was always a happy, friendly face at our family gatherings. He had such a lovely, kind nature. If it wasn’t for him and his beloved dog Robbie, we never would’ve gotten our special dogs, Benny and Ned. We’ll miss him very much xxx

Humble, is the word that comes to mind when I think of John, Whilst only being able to work with John for a short period I could easily see why he was respected by many. John gave me the opportunity to better myself in my carrier which I cannot thank him enough. Rest in Peace

Will forever miss this great man I consider a mentor, friend, colleague and importantly the pillar of Lan1. His sense of humour, calmmess in extreme situations and professionalism is legendary. I am proud to have serve, work and going to battle with John. He makes us perform our best with just his presence and loyally support us all the way. You may be gone but not forgotten. May you rest in peace.

Dear John It was pleasure to work with you. When I join Hills back in November 2017, you help and guide me about the company. It was your greatness to accept me a newbie in Hills and also as a new migrant in this country. God be with you.

I had the pleasure to work with John for 18 years, apart from being a mentor for all my IT experience he was also a genuine friend. I felt at times there was no problem he could not solve, it amazed me how incredibly gifted he was and humble at the same time. I will miss our conversations over a cup of coffee and working alongside him nutting out problems … at times I just felt like a spectator in awe of him in action. As with all the sediments posted he will be greatly missed but never forgotten, with a teary eye I say Rest In Peace John,

John touches all of us in different ways and make positive impact to our lives. He is foremost our dear friend, business partner, mentor and someone we can count on. No doubt we will miss him dearly, he will always be remembered and be with us. I am so proud to have John as a friend and business partner the last 28 years.

Ask and you shall receive. That is the way John worked with the team. As long it made sense and we could make money. John always delivered and even in the most trying situations was the calming voice of reason. Thank you for all your support over the years. Our world was a brighter place with you in it. Rest In Peace

John’s best asset has always been his sense of humour - a sentiment echoed by many. His presence will be deeply missed at our family gatherings. I am honoured to have had 23 years with you as my godfather, and I am so grateful to you for introducing me to John Rebus. May you finally be at peace xx

John you have been part of our family since we met over 30 years ago. Who will rate my scones and fix all my IT issues and listen while I talk and talk and talk. You were always so calm and had such a fun sense of humour. We will miss you xx
