To our beloved Uncle Perry, Your strength, courage and tenacity will never be forgotten, you always managed to see the positive of most situations and that approach certainly has left its mark with me. Growing up our families where almost as one and I thank you for that as I have some of the best childhood memories that anyone could have. To my beloved dad, words cant describe how much love I have for you, I know that we all have special memories of the many years we had together.and I am grateful for those. First of all, he had a wife whom he adored,then he was blessed with 2 children,6 grandchildren He was blessed with 6 grandchildren who adored him and 11 great grandchildren whom he adored. There are many words to describe my dad he was very strong and most would say to the point of stubborn, respectful, strongwilled, hard on the outside but only a few saw his tenderness. He provided for his family which meant everything to him.

It is with deepest sorrow and sadness that I write this tribute to you Theio Perry. You were a wonderful and loving uncle to my brother and I, and a loving brother and brother-inlaw to my dad and mum. We will cherish the time that we had with you and all the amazing memories. One of my earliest memory was as a young child spending my Xmas break with you, theia, Veronica and John at Warragamba. There are so many memories all the Easter's, Xmases at the Entrance. Listening to the stories of you and your brothers growing up in Greece and so on. Whenever we visited either with my family or later in married life with Costa we were always met with a big hug and warm smile. The Entrance will never feel the same. You touched so many lives with your love, kindness and wisdom. Theo Perry You were In our lives from before I could remember. I heard the stories from you and my father of better years when you first came to Australia when our families needed to support each other out of necessity and love in the new Country. Today I was looking at the black and white photos that my mother kept of the good days and you were always with us. You always gave me a sense of security knowing you were there for me after my father passed away and mentored me during my wild days as a youth. You were always very generous with your time and your table to anyone in need of direction. You will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Rest In Peace Uncle Perry.

I can not remember any childhood memory at The Entrance without spending some time with this great man and his family.. Long days at the beach sharing food, umbrellas and laughter. He will be dearly missed💞😢

For many, a funeral is a ritual of loss and connection where we remember our loved ones who have passed and comfort the living. The coronavirus outbreak has altered that ritual and changed the way we say goodbye: the loss remains, the connections change.

The family has the difficult decision of which ten people will attend the funeral. They are aware that many of you would like to attend but unfortunately, due to the restrictions in place, it is not possible.

Following the service, a replay of the service, as well as a video presentation celebrating Perry's life will be available for viewing.
