I didnt know Vicky for very long however i liked her. She was fun and liked to have a giggle. Last year she brought some basil into the office and she gave me some. I took it home and surprise surprise it started to thrive. The last time I saw Vicki we had a bit of a chat about.it. She laughed. I call the plant Vicki now and its still thriving. ... Au Revoir Vicki

Words cannot express the sadness and void you will leave in my life dearest cousin. You were always a shining and positive light in our lives and I know you will continue to inspire and guide me from the other side. You will be sorely missed by all those you touched with your kindness, your wit and your incredible sense of humour. Your three greatest achievements will shine your light bright as they continue the legacy you instilled in them. I love you and will miss you dearly, but will hold you close to my heart always. Farewell cookie...love you always xo

I was one of the international students Vicky looked after. Vicky always asked me if I am going okay like a friend and was most helpful whenever I needed her assistance. She was a kind and strong woman. I miss her beautiful smile and will always think of her when I go to Concord.

Vicky was a wonderful professional in her working life and she will be greatly missed by all academic staff at Concord and the ANZAC Research Institute. She was the always smily, helpful face for graduate students, never at a loss to know how to help, to smooth over troubles and direct them in positive ways. Her family should know how deeply appreciated she was in her working life.

For many, a funeral is a ritual of loss and connection where we remember our loved ones who have passed and comfort the living.  The coronavirus outbreak has altered that ritual and changed the way we say goodbye: the loss remains, the connections change.

The new relaxing of restrictions allows 100 mourners inside the church and unrestricted outside of the chapel as long as social distancing rules are followed.
